Fraud Prevention Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Bread Squared LLC is committed to conducting business ethically and in full compliance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Texas Finance Code, and all other applicable federal and state laws. This Fraud Prevention Policy explains the standards we hold ourselves and our clients to.
1. What We Will Not Do
- We will not dispute information on your credit reports that is accurate, current, and verifiable.
- We will not advise you to create a "new" credit identity through an Employer Identification Number (EIN), Credit Privacy Number (CPN), or any other identifier used to conceal or replace your true Social Security number.
- We will not misrepresent your income, employment, assets, or identity to any lender, creditor, credit bureau, or government agency.
- We will not guarantee a specific credit score, funding approval, interest rate, or loan amount.
- We will not accept payment for services before those services are performed, as prohibited by CROA.
2. Client Expectations
By engaging Bread Squared, you agree that you will:
- Provide truthful and accurate information about your identity, income, employment, assets, and financial obligations.
- Use only your true, government-issued Social Security number in all credit applications and profile documents.
- Refrain from applying for credit under false pretenses, whether for personal or business purposes.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect identity theft or unauthorized activity on your credit file.
3. Detection and Reporting
If, during the course of an engagement, we identify indicators of fraud, misrepresentation, or synthetic-identity activity, we may pause services, request additional documentation, decline to continue the engagement, and, where required by law, report the activity to the appropriate regulator or law-enforcement authority.
4. Identity-Theft Support
If you are a victim of identity theft, we will help you understand your rights under the FCRA and the Identity Theft Assistance resources at IdentityTheft.gov, including placing fraud alerts, freezing your credit, and disputing fraudulent accounts through the correct legal process.
5. Reporting Suspected Fraud
If you believe someone is impersonating Bread Squared or misusing our name, please contact us through the Book a Call page so we can investigate.
